Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ZeeBUGS collects when you visit zeebugs.com or contact us, why we collect it, who processes it for us and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are
ZeeBUGS (“ZeeBUGS”, “we”, “us”) is a digital agency that designs and builds websites, software, mobile apps and brand identities. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information you give us
When you use the project brief form on our Home or Contact page, the details you enter (name, email, optional company, the service you’re interested in, optional timeline and your project details) are sent to our inbox at info@zeebugs.com by email. The website itself does not keep a copy. If online sending isn’t available, the form offers to open your own email app instead, and nothing is sent until you send that email.
When you email us, message us on LinkedIn or another platform, or speak with us on a call, we receive the information you choose to share, typically:
- your name and contact details (email, phone if provided);
- your company or organization and role;
- information about your project, such as goals, timelines, budget, designs, files and access you share with us;
- the content of our correspondence.
Job applications
When you apply for a role through our careers pages, the application form sends us your name, email, optional phone number, location and time zone, optional LinkedIn and portfolio links, your CV and your note. These are delivered to our careers inbox by email; the website does not keep a copy. If you apply by email instead, we receive what you send.
We use application information only to assess you for the role you applied for (and, if you agree, for similar future roles), and to contact you about it. Unsuccessful applications are deleted 12 months after the role is filled unless you ask us to keep them longer or delete them sooner.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example from search or a link), approximate location at country or city level, device and browser type, and interactions such as scrolling and clicks. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. To keep the site fast, the analytics script loads after your first interaction with the page or after a few seconds.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and time of request.
We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
- To assess job applications and contact applicants.
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and quotes, and arrange calls.
- To deliver projects we agree with you, including communication, invoicing and support.
- To understand how the site is used and improve its content, performance and usability.
- To keep the website secure and prevent misuse.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on:
- taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract, for enquiries and projects;
- our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving our website and business, balanced against your rights;
- your consent, where the law requires it for analytics cookies; you can withdraw consent at any time;
- compliance with legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards provided by those providers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Project and client records: for the duration of our relationship and as long as needed afterwards for support, legal, accounting and tax purposes.
- Analytics data: kept in Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months, then automatically deleted.
- Hosting logs: kept for a short period by Vercel for operations and security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. California residents can also ask what personal information we collect and how we use it; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
To make a request, email info@zeebugs.com. We will reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site and access controls on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us, including project files and access credentials, and we only use it for the work you have asked us to do.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
